About Us

The Pregnancy Center of Sanford and Winter Park is a not for profit medical facility that has been offering its free services in Seminole County since 1998 and we serve over 200 clients at both of our locations each month. All our services are free, confidential, and available to everyone, regardless of age, race, religion, or financial status.

We know that pregnancy can bring up a variety of emotions for women of all ages. For some, it is the best news they have ever received. For others, it can be overwhelming and unexpected.


Whatever situation you find yourself in, please know that you are not alone. Our trained counselors are here to listen with compassion. We offer free pregnancy tests and can help with gestational age determination and many community-based referrals. Call, text or come in today.

Andrea

Founder & Executive Director

Andrea Krazeise was raised in Sanford and graduated from Seminole High School. She is a passionate advocate for young women particularly those facing an unplanned pregnancy. Her desire to start The Pregnancy Center in 1998 was so that women would have a safe and confidential place to come and discuss their pregnancy options and be treated with respect and dignity.

Terra graduated from UCF with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration. Terra continued her schooling in Sonography. She graduated from the Florida Institute of Ultrasound in Pensacola and went on to perform ultrasounds of the heart, abdomen, vascular system, OB/Gyn, and small parts in doctor’s offices all over Central Florida. Terra has over 10 years experience and is registered with the American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography(ARDMS) in OB/GYN Ultrasound.

Pamela C Cates-Smith, MD OBGYN

Medical Director

Dr. Cates-Smith earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, and completed her residency at Orlando Health.

Dr. Cates-Smith has a special interest in adolescent obstetrics, and specializes in minimally invasive surgery. In addition to her work with Orlando Health Physician Associates, Dr. Cates-Smith also teaches in the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies residency program.

Dr. Cates has served as the Center’s Medical Director since 2016.
